The 2010 Conference will feature some of the countries most informative and dynamic speakers, addressing topics related to the many problems associated with Gangs, Drugs and other contemporary law enforcement issues. The keynote address will be given by Federal Judge Eric Melgren, former U.S. Attorney for the District of Kansas.

Presenters will include Assistant U.S. Attorney Deb Barnet, “Using RICO Statutes to charge Gang Members; ATF Special Agents Brandon Fletcher and Bruce Stukey, Kansas City, “Undercover Operations: “Are you prepared when things go bad?”; DEA Special Agent Chris Wojciechowski, St. Louis, “The Midwest Drug Problem”; FBI Special Agent Michael Oyler, Kansas City, “A Case Study of Operation X-Man”; Chief Deputy District Attorney C.J. Rigg, “Update on Kansas Statutes Pertaining to Gangs”, A Special Agent from Immigrations & Customs Enforcement (ICE), will address “Smuggling and Human Trafficking”, and Wichita Police Captain Troy Livingston and Assistant to the Chief of Police Gordon Bassham, “Fighting Crime Through Social Networking” and much much more.

On the final day of the conference, officers from Mission, Kansas, Dodge City and Gang Units from the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office and Wichita Police Department, will discuss, “Gang Activity in the State of Kansas”.

The $150.00 conference registration fee provides continental breakfast each day, mid morning and afternoon refreshments, two lunches, a hospitality reception and a wealth of handout materials.

This program qualifies for 20 hours continuing education credit required for Kansas Law Enforcement Officers.
