The 2008 Conference will feature some of the countries most informative and dynamic speakers, addressing topics related to the many problems associated with Gangs and Drugs. The keynote address will be given by Kansas Attorney General Stephen Six. A former Douglas County Circuit Court judge, General Six took office on January 31, 2008.

Presenters will include DEA Supervisory Special Agent Ed Hendrie, DEA Training Academy, Quantico, VA; Deputy John Williams, Gang Training Specialist, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Los Angeles, CA; FBI Supervisory Agent Darell Dones, FBI National Academy, Quantico, VA; ATF Special Agent Mike Halualani, Los Angeles, California Field Division who will discuss “Aryan Brotherhood Prison Gangs”; Sheriff Rick Flores, Webb County Texas (Laredo, Texas) will address the “USA/Mexico Border Problems”; Wichita Police Department Gang Unit Supervisor Lt. Jeff Easter and Assistant U.S. Attorney Deb Barnett will focus on the use of RICO statutes to attack gang activity and much, much more

The $125.00 conference registration fee provides continental breakfast each day, mid morning and afternoon refreshments, two lunches, a hospitality reception and a wealth of handout materials.

This program qualifies for 20 hours continuing education credit required for Kansas Law Enforcement Officers.
