(A.) Sheriff’s Civil Service Board

Executive Director serves as a member of the Board.

(B.) Crime Stoppers

The Executive Director and five members pf the Crime Commission serve as active Board Members of the program. Wichita/Sedgwick County Crime Stoppers celebrated its twenty six year of operation in 2006 and has never been more active.

(C.) NACC

The Commission maintains membership in the National Association of Citizen’s Crime Commissions and the Executive Director serves as Treasurer.

(D.) Monthly General Membership Meetings

Commission General Membership meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month, 11:30a.m. at the Scotch and Sirloin Restaurant. The meetings feature a speaker addressing various contemporary criminal justice issues important to the Commission’s membership.
